Website question about ton's of guests online at the same time with similiar ip addresses.

Here the last few weeks on my message boards there will be usually 20-30 guests viewing the boards and they all have ip addresses that begin with 74.6

What do you think this could be? Anything to worry about?

I guess I should be clearer....that simply means that out of a pool of MILLIONS, possibly all using the same provider, 30 are on your site, and since there are monopolies in broadband these days..you get the picture

Verizon, Rogers Canada, Road Runner, Comcast and Earthlink all have IP ranges that start with 74

(I put a random IP from 74.6 in here: http://psacake.com/web/eg.asp and found that they own that whole range: http://ws.arin.net/cgi-bin/whois.pl?queryinput=74.6.0.0)

Edit: Looking more closely, it's probably Yahoo indexing your site.

They're probably spidering from multiple machines at the same time. Even if a site is "crappy", it'll get spidered and indexed.
