TRUE they do. but they usually die of natural causes, illness, etc. NOT murder. Usually people who stay on the good side don't have too many enemys, etc.

It's naive to think that religion is the key to a safer path in life. I'm whack to think it but I doubt the guy that murdered the couple was thinking oh these are good church going people, I won't kill them.

Like I said, my condolences to their loved ones christian or not. It's a sad tragedy that they were murdered. Their religious affiliation has no bearing on my feelings but the fact that you feel you need to announce it to the world does so live with it.

And to the rest of the guys, you should try to show some tact instead of coming off as straight asshats.

I believe what the OP'er is trying to say is that people that go to church and are true "devoted christians" shouldn't have any enemies....and especially ones that would want to kill them.

He said nothing about them being persecuted because they were Christian.

And my point is that I don't think their being devouted chistians would've prevented this. Murder is usually a spur of the moment type thing, not a oh-I-hate-him-so-very-very-much premeditated enemy type thing. Religion doesn't make you invincible.
