My lessons are

Starts - 63
Cornering - 74
Braking - 60

Been away for a few days so I'm sure mwilding is further ahead. :(
Yes, but opnly by a little. I am at a major roadblock and only get a few chances to race each day. My only income is the special events.

Class 3 Sunday in 243 minutes with a grand prize of $500,000 - enough for a TRV

WTF... this game is gay...

I was $100 away from an M3, I go to race a guy...
I won $100 from him but at the same time lost $5000 from someone else racing me.
It's fvcking impossible to save money since you can only bank like once a day, so you are forced to have a bunch of money on you if you want to get a new car. I went from $20k to 5k in 3 minutes from other people racing me. :|

Yea.. that's what I'll be buying if I win the Sunday.. ;)

Or just spend it on more lessons.. Hard choice. :(

ok so I need lessons in the 70's to compete in special events? that will take me millions of dollars and I'll still be stuck with an M3 and approaching roadblocks

what are your lessons at?
i bit the bullet and bought 1.3 million dollars, got a TVR, all stage 3 mods and bumped my lessons to
starts/reactions - 32
cornering - 62
braking - 37

and i still got 4th place out of like 4 or 5 in a class 4 quick race

i am level 780.1 btw, but once i got above like 300 I realized how quickly you jump higher and higher and my M3 wasn't winning me enough money to afford enough lessons to be competitive in special races.

guess i should have blown the whole 1.3 mil on lessons and kept the m3

Jeez guys, I'm just cracking 200 here, what increments are the rankings being upped by when you guys win? I catch a 2.0 raise here and there...

Until you hit a wall (1230 for me) you will move up faster and faster and you get higher on the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder there are twenty people at each rank you have to get past. Higher up they are all 1-10 points apart.

K, I think their system is a smidge flawed, it takes you no time flat to lose thousands but ages to gain it back.
And the $600 more for each new lesson is awful steep, but then again the whole point is to sell the dollars so cheaters can sit in low brackets and rake in the cash from specials....

I can take spots on the podium, but only at around 4am, its kinda getting old....

btw, for those of you that didnt notice (I know you did ffm) the higher ranked cars open for challenge are always towards the bottom, pick the one highest up on the food chain that you feel you can take and pick the track that suits your car best (good accl. but not enough braking? hit a track with loads of straights, feel you can't outrun em but you can outdrive em? Monaca or Silver Rock are great).

I also seem to get more bonuses (and better takes in general) this way....

What level are your lessons at? Mine are pretty low, I mostly let my car do the racing...but I'm working on them, haven't met a car I couldn't beat just yet, waiting till that time comes :p
