Webmaster needs calendar/schedule cgi (i think)

i am new to webmastering....

I add a "mini-poll" from bravenet.com and it works fine... i change the poll periodically and it automatically changes on the website-- no "FTP" needed....

anyway-- I want the same thing with a calendar of events-- where I (or others) can add events to a calendar, and the calendar automatically changes to include these events without doing any FTP-- just like my mini-poll.

anyone here know of a good calendar/schedule cgi(?) that would allow more than one user add an event, and the webpage which contains the source code for this calendar will automtaically update? like my mini-poll does??

in other words, if the baseball coach wants to add an event to the calendar, and the senior class advisor wants to add a meeting date to the calendar, they both can do it, and I dont have to FTP the webpage-- the calendar on the webpage is automatically updated.

if i've confused you, just imagine how i feel. thanks
