webhosting/ripplehost.com question.

anywho, ive been having some trouble with a ripplehost account: i want to change domain names. the man in charge over there seems to be, once again, missing. i was wondering if anyone had any expience over there and knew if it was possible.

Yes it's a two step process:

1) Find a new web host, if you are on a budget I suggest researching HostPC.com or AddAction.net

2) Go to your domain registrar's web site (GoDaddy.com, NameCheap.com, etc.) and change your DNS name servers to the new web host.

yeah, ok. ill try those guys. i got nothing on ripplehost and its only about 5 bucks out for me.
thanks for the new host options. (im using namecheap right now.)

Ripplehost doesn't allow domain name changes. You have to get a new account for a new domain name.

OTOH, while I've seen a few glitches from there, the price is absolutely worth it. I won't, however, put anything critical on their servers, but I have no problem putting up my bus site...
