my friend uses www.p4host.com and his plan is 2GB of webspace and 40GB of transfer for $15 a month.

i think that's a pretty good deal, but that's just me.

Ended up with Radish.net.

Thanks all and I'll report as I go. As far as Ripplehost....NEGATIVE!

i've been real happy with weberz

if you don't mind waiting a few weeks to get your account set up, as well as slow servers and email and no customer service - try ripplehost for 10 bucks a year.

It all depends on the price you're willing to pay... you get what you pay for.

Good luck, I dunno how radish.net stays in business with these prices.

Yeah, looks like you could run into problems in the future.

Also, I contacted their online help and asked how many employees they have and he went "offline".... interesting.

His parents probably scolded him for being online after 9:30PM, his bed time.

He does have a quiz in his Spanish class tomorrow (Junior High School) ;)

Let me clarify,

Ripplehost for the dollar is not bad at all. For someone looking to save a buck or two then look at ripplehost. I did and it worked for me up until I out grew it's service.

Radish.net so far has not done me wrong. One time I was on support and it got disrupted. I was emailed and asked to come back online with the tech rep. I've chatted with 3 different people online (at least the name was different). I even was able to have someone call me back at 11pm (my preference) to help me with my website moving over to radish. This was not in the contract and helped me out greatly.

So far Radish gets a good rating from, someone using the company not some just commenting on it. Yes the price is great and the company has been around since 1996 in some form or another. I've searched a couple places commenting on web hosting and couldn't find anything bad mentioned about the company.
