fr the billionth time, we are starting a business and need to save all the money we can. I get rent, food and gas money, so I am technically getting paid.

No spending money.

It's worth it so we can continue to pay employees, repair/buy new equipment and such🙂

Some people simply can't design a proper site, and it's for this reason that I always choose to find someone who can. Not everyone is creative in that manner. I couldn't design a site, the interior of my home, or anything in between; however, the inverse is also true. The manner in which I am creative most are not.

I don't think that is a bad mock-up at all. It looks like a good start to me.

Couple things that probably make the average joe say it sucks.

The puzzle needs to be seamless.
I guess I'm not all about the fading into the background at the bottom.
Do you have more of a logo to use at the top?
I think the bold font for the body it a little much.

most of those questions were actualyl addressed with some of our "beta" sites, and yes, we do have a logo, but they looked worse.

The fading issue was just me FUBAR'ing up the CSS 😱
 
I think it looks pretty great so far. I have been on a lot more expensive, fancier websites that have looked way worse.

Thanks....I've being sticking to pre-fabricated CSS pages and will probably jsut make my own so I can get more control over it.
 
It may not be anyting fantastic, but that site is far from sucking. At least it is a simple, clean design.

Now, if you want a headache, start coding corporate intranet sites, specifically for database and information access. Talk about a pain in the ass. I envy you public website creators 🙂
