My school has a few webcams set up that are each accessible online as a refreshable jpeg. Using XP Home and possibly the Express versions of either VB or C++, how would I go about downloading the jpeg every minute to form an animation that would automatically export to, say, an animated gif or, even better, an mpeg? I always liked time-lapsed photography like that, and I think it would be cool to compress a week's worth of pictures into a 5.6 minute animation (30fps, each frame being a minute)
