Webcam Recommendations

I'm looking to buy a webcam soon, but finding reviews I can trust is becoming quite a task. I checked CNet's site and wasn't surprised to find MANY conflicting reviews (between the site's and the users').

Anyone have some first-hand experience with these? ~$150 is as much as I want to spend, but decent quality and ease of use is important as well.

Thanks in advance.

(I realize this is more of a 'Video' question and thus might be better suited for that forum, but I think it falls under the category of 'General Hardware' as well)

The intel pro has a lot of feature & clear, also RCA out for VCRs. Its like 110 with lots of rebate, after rebate is around 60 bucks.

I had the logitech quick cam - regular - crap.

The new quick cam is better also, go usb. Its the only solution.

The Logitech QuickCam Pro is a decent piece of hardware. I think Intel also has a new webcam that doubles as a regular (albeit not so high resolution) digicam.

BTW Balt, are you a fan of the comic "Flubble?" or is the name just a coincidence?

From what I have heard, the new Creative one is meant to be good, otherwise, I think that the Videologic has a good quality

Thanks, guys. I think I might just go with the Intel to be on the safe side, but I will definitely check out those others as well.

KarsinTheHutt, coincidence. 🙂

Any more replies are welcome.
