Hey guys i need some help with something, i just got this webcam:
MICROSOFT
VX-3000
LIFECAM

I installed if and everything is fine. If im useing just the webcam with msn for example everything is usually ok. Once i open a game to play together like World of Warcraft, after a while my computer freezes.
It also freezes sometimes when i dont do anything else except use to webcam but this happens not so often.
I was wondering if anyone knew what is the cause of this, if i disable my webcam taking the usb out of the pc, then my pc never freezes nor has any problems.
Thanks for any help

Spec:
amd X2 4800+
2gig cros
7900gtx

Did the camera come with a driver CD? If so, did you load the drivers? Does the documentation that came with the camera have a FAQ/Q&A section for common problems?

It's detecting skintones in the input and shutting down your PC to prevent you exposing yourself to other people as you play WoW.

Yes i have installed the cd that came with it and there is nothing about a similar problem on the booklet etc

What do you mean with that its detecting skintones? So it knows im doing something else and doesn't allow that?
Is there a way to disable that?
