Webcam help needed

Here's the deal. I want to set up my webcam so I can keep an eye on the cats while I'm in LA the next couple of days. (they are always throwing parties while I'm away. I come home, find catnip all over, open tuna cans, etc.)

Is there an easy way to do this? I would really like to have it streaming, but snapshots would work as well. I have the ability to upload a pic every minute or so, but that's about all I have figured out.

Any suggestions?

I know that there's some webcam software that will let you record at any time the camera sees motion. VisionGS is good and free for personal use. Built in http server, motion detection, streaming video, etc.
