Do any of you have a suggestion for a webcam that grips on the notebook lid?
Usually the webcams made for notebooks don't rotate. I have already looked the logitech and creative for notebook. The only model that rotates is a very bad quality camera.

I was considering getting a desktop cam that sits on top of the monitor, but it really just sits there, it's not a tight grip to the lid. I usually have the notebook on my lap and I move arround.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks so much

There are several that meet your description. Microsoft has a good one, and so does Creative. The Creative webcam swivels and rotates.

I would suggest you visit a CompUSA, Best Buy or Circuit City (or Fry's) and look them over. Then when you find one you like, buy it from Newegg. :)

Thanks for your response. But I have done the research and it's not that easy to find. I have looked at newegg and frys. Which model from creative or microsoft does that? I really don't think it exists. Creative doesn't have one that rotates and that grips on a notebook, neighter does microsoft.

Yes - this one from Creative clips to the Notebook screen frame, and it has mechanical tilt and pan.
