I have installed a webcam on WIN/2003 and can use it successfully to have a live webcam show as a page on my website, however, AIM and Yahoo messenger say 'no camera connected' or similar message.

Any ideas?

try this registry setting for YM, save as a *.reg file:

--------------------------START-------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Webcam]
"UseVFW"=dword:00000001

---------------------------END--------------------------------

I created a file called 'dd.reg' and put stuff above, then double clicked..... it was entered... rebooted box...

Still same message when I click on 'View Webcam' under my user name:

'User does not his/her Webcam online.'
