Webber has some stones that's for sure...disregarding team orders?

Meh. There will always be rumors.

If they actually do show Webber the door because of the incident, I think they'd be pretty stupid. I don't think Kimi has the killer instinct to get into the Top 5 of the current drivers. And without that, RedBull doesn't have a lock on the Constructors Championship.

In the closing laps of the race, Mark Webber had closed in right on Vettel's tail in a close fight for second place. But then the team radioed Webber and instructed him to back off. Webber ignored the team orders and kept pressing, and while he didn't manage to get by and didn't cause either to crash, it undoubtedly caused some consternation on Red Bull's pit wall.

I didn't see Webber pressing at all. As soon as he got the order, he fell in line in parade formation and followed Vettel.

If Webber had pressed, he'd have blown right by. He marched smartly up to the back of Vettel's car and was quite a bit faster.

😕 Really? The guy is a former World Driver's Champion with 18 career wins and 62 podiums. He also happens to have performed one of the most impressive overtaking moves of all time IMO. In 2005, starting 17 on the grid at Suzuka, he drove through the field and passed Giancarlo Fisichella on the last lap, on the outside, in one of the fastest corners on the track for the win.

His motivation on the other hand is another question. He definitely has the instinct.
