Web video not working

When i try to use web videos, like CNN or sun-sentinel's website, the screen appears but no video plays. I have installed the latest flash player 8 and nothing works. On my lap top the videos play in both IE and firefox, but not on my desktop. IE and firefox have the same problem. I reinstalled firefox and nothign happens. All popups are enabled and all cookies are enabled.

What should i do?

BTW i am not new here, just a new account.
 
do you have adblock on firefox have you updated your flashplayer, ifso you need to go to options on adblock and untick obj-tabs
