Need some help..
I want a server or web site to hold some data that other people can access or down load.
1 or 2 gig is all I would need. Any suggestions?

My son is in the service and wants to dl some of his music to a friends comp for his Ipod and I was thinking if I put it up on a server or web site he could access is easily.

Some place where I pay a monthly fee..

you can't put copyrighted material on a publicly accessible site, so it would have to be an FTP with a login. Even so, you'd likely be violating the TOS of your webhost.
Yuo can get a hosting plan with a gig of storage for less than 10 a month.
 
I don't want to break the law or anything like that. I have used other peoples FTP and like how that works..So are you saying I have to have my own server To transfer data that is copywrited? It would be easier to mail him his CD's
