Does anyone know of any free software that can download the contents of a web site?

One of my college instructors is retiring, and he's invited us to download his large collection of exam answers, lecture notes, and other miscellaneous study guides from his college-hosted web site. However, the semester is ending in four days, and the college webmaster will remove the site at that time. There's too much material on the site for me to browse through it and download everything manually before the semester ends, especially since I have finals to study for.

The site is a large collection of static pages, so there's no dynamic content to worry about.

DTA works great for downloading the contents of a single web page, but I really need something that can follow links, and I don't believe DTA has that capability.
