Can anyone give either links to where i can learn, or give me a quick tut on how to install and run stuff like access and php boards on my web site. my host offers full cgi, sql, php etc etc support and i'm wondering how i go about setting stuff up. do i just up load a copy of access to the server and install it in my "space"? i want to run a tiny db from my web site. any help or pointers muchos appreciated. thnx,

Does your host run Linux or Windows webspace.

Assuming it's Windows then upload your database (if you want to add stuff to it online then ensure your host changes permissions on the DB file - unless you can do it yourself that is !).

You'll then need to code your pages in ASP to talk to the database.

http://www.powerasp.com/ is pretty informative if you're not familiar with the coding

Good luck - it's relatively easy once you get the basics
