HI
I want to take advantage of the space I have on my isp to set up a web page.
Besides Microsoft Front Page,, what other software can I use...
I want to keep things simple and the software cheap!!! 😀
Also,,, since I am very new at this,,, something like "Web for Dummies" kinda of software is what I need!! LOLOL
Thanks

A good cheap editor is HTMLPAD 2000. It has all the features of a good HTML Editor and also has a text mode, preview mode and more importantly a split mode. The split mode lets you tyoe in your html code and see the output instantaneously.

Best Of Luck.

DreamWeaver 4, while not cheap( 300 US) is a excellent program. I would reccomend you get it when you have the money.

I would also reccomend you get HTML 4 for the World Wide Web by Elizabeth Castro. THis is an excellent book, and it will get you started on HTML, and it requires no previous knowledge of HTML. You can find it at Amazon.com or any other e-store, or you may be able to find it at your local bookstore

Hi
Thanks to all of you who sent in info for software and books to use.
Gonna check them out and also check out a few that I will have to pay for. :Q LOLOL Maybe even check out a few evening classes at the local community college. At my old age,, it seems I need a combination of books and LIVE instruction!!!
Thanks Again
