Do your printer properties allow for you to scale the print at all?

Otherwise you could take a screenshot of the page and try printing it in another program - like Photoshop if you have it.

no options like that for my printer. is there any options inside IE that could accomplish that?

It mattes how hte web page is coded.

One workaround is to try printing in landscape and adjust hte left/right margins to be as small as possible.

Your hands are relatively tied when it comes to printing web pages in IE6 - you're pretty much at the dev's mercy (except for the margin/landscape trick).

Firefox and IE7 (dunno about Opera) allow scaling so if it's possible, try those browsers. IE7 scaling is actually very nice from my experience with it so far.
