Web Hosting

Anyone have any imput for web/email hosting. Looking for something that offers sql/mysql support for under 15.00 a month.

Sites i am looking into

addr.com
godaddy.com
crystaltech.com

I know a member here was offering a great hosting package for free. Search OT for it, there's been hundreds of threads on this.

Go to WHT. Your best bet...

Infexion.net is what I just finished using. I don't like how my PHP scripts crashed their servers (NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN BEFORE), and they told me if I did it again I wuold be uberly charged. Speed, support and reliability were nice.

Hostgator is great.

Lunarpages is good

Hostrocket has been rock solid, but a little expensive if you want month by month

Thanks for all the input.

I did take a look at WHT, just looked like a bunch of advertising. How do some of you determine what a quality, sound, and secure Host might be?

pretty good tips here

I've been doing websites since 1998ish and have been through my fair share of hosts. You get what you pay for, go with "big names", try to avoid one man operations. I've been with hostgator for a little over a year now and they've been nothing but good. And as far as I know I've had 0 downtime.

And OP, FYI hard to believe but $15 a month is big money in shared hosting. So you should be able to get everything you want.

dreamhost... seach in hot deals, you can get your first year for only 10 bucks

textdrive and asmallorange are also good
