Stop making web pages that resize the browser window. This is one of the most annoying things you can do with a web page. Put hundreds of animated gif's and tons of flash content... but dammit, don't resize my browser window!

Firefox has had the option to disable javascript resizing/moving of browser windows for a while.

Well thanks for letting us know. We will certainly stop doing that this instant!

I hate web pages that force you to use javascript. I use noscript to stop stupid anoyances but when a site requires that I let it through so I can even see the site, it's a piss off.

Well, in practical terms that one isn't going away any time soon. As aggravating as misused javascript can be, js is ubiquitous these days, and actually is flat out needed to accomplish a number of things that go into a modern website.

As for the original request....lol. Do you really think anybody who does that doesn't know it annoys the hell out of people? They just don't care.

It's not quite as evil as embedding sound/music into a website with flash or other techniques, and having it autoplay, or play without the user doing something that is clearly going to make noise.

Having a window resized annoys me. Sudden, unexpected sounds annoy me and anyone around me.
