It seems like you know your way around the software, but I'd try to learn more style.

Try and think above and beyond what you're trying to do and make sure your colors are nice and match well. Check out other good sites and find what you like about them. The more you do that, the more you'll build a sense of style and then just do what they did, but in your own way and in combination with the other styles you've seen.

Once you do that, you'll start to develop your own style.

You're coming along OK, but geez dude...lay off the Eyecandy filters/PS filters. It's painfully obvious and sometimes a little too much. Try to go to "Image>Adjust" and play around with your own tricks and control them a bit more.
