Hey all,

I'm a complete web design noob. I know nothing about making web pages, and not a lick of HTML code. I just got some webspace and I want to post a bunch of pictures I've been taking. Anybody know any good software for building galleries? I'd like something flexible and powerful yet easy to learn. As for the gallery I want, it'd be nice if I can post comments under pictures and have people respond, sort of like myspace. Also, I'd like people to be able to link specific pages -- I think some php engines won't let you do that, right?

Any help y'all can give would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since you don't know how to develop, I wouldn't recommend trying to create something yourself as that is going to be quite the learning curve.

Instead, check out Picasa. It is a photo management application that Google has released FREE to the public. I LOVE IT and it makes things so easy my wife doesn't bug me about how to send her friends pictures.

Plus, Picasa has the functionality built-in to create web photo albums that are free to host... here is the details:
