The design isn't completely done as far as looks go, but the basic layout is there, and I want to know what you think of the usability on a specific part of my site. Go to csc131.com and log in with the username 'bob' and password 'marley'. Once you're logged in, you'll see a gray bar with some text that says "open folder". Click that and navigate your way through some folders. I'd like to know how intuitive you think the interface to the site is. Please let me know if you have trouble figuring out how it works or if you get confused by it.

Thanks! :)

It looks good... although you might want to play around a bit with the indent - with all the lines so close together, can get confusing with what goes where - a more drastic indentation might help clarify. Another suggestion is to use + and - instead of open/close folder, though that might not be more intuitive for your particular user base.

I just made a couple changes to hopefully make it visually clearer what folders are inside each other.

On the "Sorry you've..." page, I would have the focus automatically go to "Please try again", so that the end user can just hit the "Enter" key.

That's a good idea but I was mainly curious about what you thought of the directory browsing system.

username: bob or 'bob'
password: marley or 'marley'

not working for me. I can only Black Box test what is functioning.

So its its another defect or user error on the QA tester. I suspect tester, since i'm trying to study for a test at the same time.

Edit: going back to study. I'm sure you have ample testers.

Fixed the login/password. Apparently we have an ATOT reader who thinks he's a h4x0r because he can fill out a "change password" form
