I want to purchase a Web Cam for my computer. I have really never shopped for one and don't really know whats out there. What brands do you guys recommend and what features should I look for in a web camera? Let me know. Thanks
 
If you want it to work with w2k, it's ALMOST impossible, all manufacture has some kind of beta that wont run properly, goto usb workshop and read the horror stories.. anyway even that nice polycom $600 cam has problems...
 
The 3Com Home Connect camera has W2K drivers (and other Win 9x drivers) that work very well and are frequently updated either through 3Com or the camera's parent company VistaImaging. In owning that camera for the larger part of a year, it's probably got the best picture and low light gathering ability of the consumer desktop cameras I've seen.
