web cam.. and microphones...

i'm looking at picking up a web cam with a mic.. to yack at friends with... But I was also wondering if I pick up the one with the mic. will i be able to use the same mic for when I play games online? like Dod? tfc? Cs? or NS?

if it will work then i won't bother buying a head set..

i have found that a headset with mic is much better cos you don't get feddback from the speakers into your mic when the person you are listening to speaks and it comes out heaps clearer. 🙂

i chat to a friend overseas and use skype see www.skype.com and it is great.

for a webcam i just ahve a basic logitech one that is a few years old,a nd use yahoo to video conference with my brother whop is working in the UK.

Cosmic is on it.....you can get webcams with a mic attached, and yes you could use it for gaming but I wouldn't recommend it...cause you will get feedback from the speakers! Buy the head set and the web cam. I have a seperate cheapo mic that I just attached to my screen....works pretty well I dare say

webcam separated with a mic are what you need
your voice would be more clear use you use a headset!
