Man these storms look really nasty in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana....
With record highs across many places across southern mo today and the weather service calling for well below freezing temps tonight....should have known ahead of time that it was going to get bad.

Vicious little line of T-storms.

One storm heading right for me is producing 2 inch size hail and I would be willing to bet a tornado warning in the next 15 minutes or so...

You're just east of Springfield?

You're only about an hour and a half east of me.

We will see what happens with the next line...

I'm just curious what does this have to do with politics. Why didn't you somehow tie this into global warming and Gore's documentary.

Perhaps the AND NEWS part?

How are storms not the news, and maybe you should leave the jobs of what goes where to the MODS....Then you could go back to your day job of hall pass monitor....
🙂

I believe you were referring to steppinthrax and not me right? Cause I have no problem with AND NEWS being discussed in the forum, even if it is only the weather. And the storms went south of me 😀

Quoted the wrong dude....🙂

yeah, its supposed to hit here (nashville) later tonight, but probably not as bad as the plains which always get the worse of it. We got the yearly tornado email from the administration today though about if the sirens go off what you are supposed to do. Althought tbh when these huge thunderstorms come up I usually go outside and watch them isntead of running away like your supposed to do 😛.

80 and sunny here. Been pretty consistent all winter.

I had 1/4 to 3/8 inch hail Tuesday, enough to warrant pictures. Got some at 2AM this morning as well. Wind was pushing rain and hail at a 45 degree angle into the house, I was worried about losing windows as the noise was deafening from the impacts.

ATTENTION ATTENTION I GOT A NEWS UPDATE FOR YOU. I DROPPED A COOKIE AND IT BROKE IN TWO PIECES. OMG.

According to your intreperation ^ is news.....

I'm sure when the creators of P&N meant news they were refering to news that happend in an area larger then a storm cloud over your house on your street. Also something that is verifiyable with a link preferbly. Which is the typical style of P&N.

Well let me introduce you to a very important link:

National Weather Service

You're welcome

House blown off foundation and split in half near where I used to live in Georgia.

4-5-2007 Weather Service confirms 'micro-burst' damaged home; winds were up to 110 mph.

The storm that made its way across northeast Georgia packed hail, downed powerlines and trees, and damaged at least 35 houses in the Flowery Branch area of south Hall County.

Hall County Fire Marshall Scott Cagle says damage extends from shingles and vinyl siding being blown off to one house being destroyed.

The high winds blew that house off its foundation and split it right down the middle.

He says no injuries have been reported. Cagle says the people who live in the house that was destroyed are on spring break in Florida.
