It’s been somewhat comforting to see so many people rising up against this ridiculous memo and this incredible abuse of power.

Hopefully people don’t stop here though. We need to get Nunes out of his seat. It’s generally a pretty safe one but maybe with enough outrage we can make him pay for his unethical behavior.

Take heart, it's only been the entire history so far, but as long as good people stand up, and as long as specifically McCarthy's name isn't on streets or schools... well, then it's fine, I suppose.

Don't know twitter icons and thought the 67k were the dislikes for a ms.

Trump admin hosted the top 3 Russian spy chiefs this week.

I wonder what they told him? He's the smartest, stablest, most beautiful bigliest leader in the history of all humankind, so of course they are jealous and oppose him. He has to release the memo. Putin would...

No doubt they are cheering as Trump destroys us from within.

I feel more hopeful that we did and do have enough safeguards in place for horrible people. I was worried when Bush started doing torture, and when Obama expanded extra judicial killing, but we seem to be pushing back now. Hopefully this continues and we get more done.

He's confessing about his illegal use of FBI material that he gave to his friend to release to the media? That's the first honest thing he's done in years! My respect for him just increased now that he admits he's a liar and a weasel.

He's a weasel that's still tweeting about a job his lying cost him. He didn't have the integrity to deny the FISA fishing job by the DNC, he didn't have the integrity to honestly investigate Hillary and he sure as hell doesn't have the integrity to be the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Bye-bye to that lying sack of shit.

All records and notes taken while in the employ of the FBI are FBI property and can't be released without official permission and are regarded as classified. He wasn't the head of the FBI when he committed the act. While some experts consider it a legal act, others disagree.

First, he wrote something like 9 memos on the subject. I believe only 3 were handed off. And, that's not how classification works ding dong.

They are most certainly not inherently regarded as classified. You are either clueless or a liar.

So, I gather that Comey thinks he's not a weasel and a liar? Good thing he got canned. Having someone delusional heading up the FBI is not good. Maybe he's brewing up an insanity defense.

Of course! There's nothing wrong with handing off official FBI sources to a friend so he can clandestinely release them to the media, nothing wrong there! It happens all the time! All the heads of the FBI do it!

If he wrote the notes, and he (as Director) deemed it appropriate to share, I don't see how that was illegal. Perhaps grounds for firing if his boss disagreed, but moot point since he was already fired.

It's a weasel thing to do.

He compiled notes of his encounters with the president where the president behaved abnormally, unethically, and potentially illegally. His report of this behavior after Trump fired him strongly contributed to the current investigation that’s has already uncovered widespread criminal activity among the president’s associates and appears increasingly likely to uncover criminal activity by the president himself.

It doesn’t get much nobler than that. Comey is a hero.

The president asked him to betray his country, betray an oath, and being the patriot that Comey is he fell on his sword. Taking one for the team.
You wouldnt understand that.

Speaking of weasels and liars, you all need to see the Mark Meadows/Jim Jordan segment on Chuck Todd.

"Nothing factually inaccurate in the memo"...even though that's already been proven wrong.
