Wearable Computing

Taken, yes it could be scary, but like all technology, it could be abused or be good. It is up to us who we allow to have access to the info that could be gathered by this.

I think it would be great! Since I use credit/debit cards for most purchases I am already easily trackable. This would be so cool!

Don't think I want bits and bytes in my skivies 😱 ....but I'll take your survey.

Just for science mind you 😀

I know I've read about this type of technology before. I have a feeling it is not dissertation paper. This is probably a technology company doing a feasability study to see how much interest there is in this technology. No dissertation I've ever been involved in is this specific about an item.

This is all very shady.
Can you give us more information on the school you are attending and who is your mentor, professor?

By the time this stuff comes around, we probably won't be in control of our computers at all. The RIAA, MS, etc. would like to get "cop chips" even in current computers so they can control what you can do, remotely spy, delete files, and more. Of course, you'll have no privacy at all.

I'm sure the "embedded microchip" will be presented with lots of good uses (monitor your health, call 911 if you have a heart attack, etc.), but you can be sure that less-than-well-intentioned governments and corporations will have way too much control with these devices.

oops took the survey yesterday and forgot to post
