Weakest game ending ever?

What do you think? I just beat Medol of Honor: Allied Assault and let me tell you, it's definitely in the running. I don't think I've ever felt less rewarded for beating a game.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. 🙂

What was wrong with Half-Life? I thought it was a great ending. It was well-scripted and satifsying: finally talking to the guy in suit that you couldn't reach through out the game.

It's far from bad.. am I missing something?

 
MOH definently is in the running.

Can't think of anything off the top of my head to beat it, so MOH it is.

But it was fun playing the actual game 🙂

Oh, I thought the ending to Half-Life was pretty good. But a lot of reviewers/players complained about the ending. *shrug* I just expected somebody to bring it up.
 
Counter Strike...

WTF is that? In the end, it's just some nerd leet wannabe yells, "Terrorists win!" or "Counter Terrorists win!" and it's over.. WTF?

Whatever happened to the hostages? Did they get to meet their family? How about the counter terrorists, did they go for a beer at their station's favorite local bar after a hard day's work? So retarded.
 
For the amount of time it took to finish HL it was pretty weak. I never finished MOHAA so I can't say. My vote is for the original Super Mario Bros. 😛

I thought Fallout's ending was just fine.

Altho the ending you get is determined by several factors, including:

* How many side-quests you complete
* Whether Dogmeat is still alive
* Your character's personality traits

I thought it was a good ending.

lol What about Mario 64? That was pretty bad, too. At least SMB and Mario 64 had some sort of information at the end. When you beat the last level of MOH, it fades to black, says THE END, and then rolls the credits... Pretty lame.
 
What are you talking about!?! It was just given 2002 Best Action Game of the year by PC Gamer. it has one of the most stunningly memorable moments in PC gaming history! The war ends right?

It was a lot of fun, but the ending sucked. The ending doesn't say much about the overall quality of the game. Case in point (for many people): Half-Life.
 
MOH:AA has to unequivocally be the worst ending in gaming history. Fade to black, then credits. Horrible. They could have at least done a quick cut scene showing the US rolling into Paris and the Soviets taking over Berlin. At least that would have been some closure.
