I just joined another message board to ask a question about the main topic of the board.

First it took over a week for them to accept my membership. This isn't some intellectual forum, its something quite silly on the spectrum. anyway...

so I finally get accepted, ready to create a thread, and I see one of the most retarded rules I've ever seen. You can't create new threads until you have 30 posts. And you can only make new posts every 30 minutes. and you need to be a member for 30 days.

what is this garbage forum you ask? http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/

if you value your brain-power don't even bother visiting. the people that post on there are truly stupid. I can only imagine what their version of trolling is...

Huh. You know, if rules like that meant only really well-thought out posts made it onto the site, it'd almost be worth it.

A Howard Stern message board? I doubt your question can be too important.

I'm trying to find a clip of the show that I haven't been able to locate :/ not sure if their nazi rules are worth it though

they were likely getting hit by a lot of spammers or trolls.

I post on one forum where you can't include links in your posts until you've hit like 50 posts. I liked that rule.

Well, my first thought was that, unlike ATOT, the site actually wants to verify that its members have something of value to contribute...then I saw what the site was...and that idea went out the window very quickly.

Maybe they want to be sure that you don't have anything negative to say about the great Howard Stern...(much like callers to Rush "analcyst" Limbaugh's radio show...you get heavily screened before you get on the air)
