I noticed more electronics today coming with weak led lights. There very small led's with an obnoxious light, sometimes to bright but most of the time weak.

There usually blue or amber.

It sure beats those super bright blue LEDs that light up the room. I miss the days of dim green LEDs.

Yeah, I hate those. I usually just put electrical tape over all my LEDs. Damn room doesn't need to look like a rave.

I put white masking tape over it and then cut around the LED with a hobby knife to get a tiny masking tape circle over the LED. Makes a good diffuser.

i always put something in front of my monitor's blue led power button to block it. its so distracting while watching movies

Good idea. Some of the LEDs I cover up are switch setting so that would be useful to be able to tell what the settings are. I usually just work off of memory.
