I moved this past October. I rarely use ebay, and I know nearly EVERYTHING in ebay is linked to your paypal account. So the first time I bought something since I moved, shame on me: I forgot to update my shipping address with paypal. Not terribad, item got forwarded properly.

Fixed.

Next time I bought something, shame on....??? Verified paypal address is correct, but it still shipped to the old address. Not terribad, item got forwarded properly.

Apparently ebay has a separate entry for shipping address. Fixed.

Next time I bought something (earlier this week), wtf?! Okay, I made sure that the ONLY address paypal has is my current address, and verified on the checkout page that the shipping address listed was my CURRENT address. Check the tracking information, listed as "out for delivery" this morning. But it still got shipped to my old address. It's currently heading back to the sort center some 100 miles away, either to have a forwarding label stuck to it and forwarded to me (I think they do that for 6 months after an address chance), or returned to the sender.

I checked, double checked, and triple checked and yes, both paypal AND ebay have my shipping address listed as my current address. Apparently ebay also has two other address entires, a "primary contact address" and an "item return address" along with a listed "primary shipping address" for your purchases. Apparently, somewhere along the way, this "primary shipping address" gets ignored, even though every single step along the way indicate whatever you buy will be sent to that address. Go figure.
 
God fucking damn eBay shitheads!!! And the post office shitheads too!!!

I know exactly what you're talking about and it took me awhile to figure it out.

The only reason I didn't get bit like you was because I told people to send it to my verified PayPal address.

Maybe there's an easy way to change your address but I seemed to have missed it and so did you.

Bummer, but in the grand scheme of things your new "addition" will overshadow this issue to the point of a minor inconvience. 🙂
 
Alright, so the USPS is apparently smoking crack. Item was in my mailbox today, package did indeed have the correct address on it. It was not forwarded. My guess is that my delivery guy was feeling lazy yesterday or something.
 
when ebay works the right way, including sellers and buyers, it's great.

otherwise, half the time it fvcken sucks, for me.
