Just purchased WE102 & WA301 Net Gear Wireless Network Bridge on E-Gay. Spec's looked good and price was right. Appears it uses TDMA technology with error correction. Only drawback is they are not compatible with Windows 2000, NT or XP. Has anyone had any experience using this bridge?

What do you mean by that? They will use a patch cable to a NIC or USB port. Do you mean the configuration utility software won't work with NT kernel based OS's?

Nevermind. I see what your talking about. No drivers for the 301 PCI card. Maybe they will write some soon. At least you can use the WA102 if you have an XP/NT/2K machine.

Right now I am using a Net Gear RP114 Router and tie in my computer directly. I plan to upgrade to Windows XP which should not be a problem. The WE102 is tied into another port on the router and has a wireless connction to the WA301 which is connected to a second computer running Windows ME. Unless they upgrade the WA301 drivers it looks like I will be stuck with Windows ME on that machine. :(

Bump for anyone using this wireless Net Gear bridge. What experience have you had with this system? Plan to install this weekend. I found from Net Gear customer support that one WE102 will support 10 WA301's! Not bad at all.
