The rolloff to see who wins the first half of the season in my bowling league tonight.

Not that anybody cares, but the team that wins each half gets 1000 bucks. 5 man teams and that's a nice 200 spot guaranteed at awards night at season's end.

I wasn't much help the first game, shooting a miserable 166, but I got my head on straight and shot 278, 228 the last 2 games.

Thanks Tominator. Also, before the rolloff started last night, the league president called me out on the lanes to present me with my award for shooting a 300 game earlier this season. 🙂
I had a choice of 3 awards, a ring, a plaque, or a nice Bulova watch. I chose the watch since I'm not much on jewelry.(other than my wedding band) Plus, I already have a ring for an 800 series (3 games) I shot in '96. I've worn it maybe 4 times, tops.
Maybe we can luck up and win the 2nd half of the season also. We'll see.
