you do realize that 99% of these "Chinese-made" products are manufactured by American companies?
If you really did care, and knew wtf you were talking about, you would boycott American companies that outsourced their work. You know, we'd have more assembly lines, and impoverished people making 2 cents a day to stamp your cheap-ass Wal Mart T-shirts...if it weren't for Union labor. go cry to them.
OR, another avenue of approach for you: If you complain about purchasing non-American goods, why not ask why they are being purchased? is it possible that we are being out-competed in terms of quality, and even price? Is it not anti-capitalist to ignore the fundamental tenants of competition-driven economics and buy something simply b/c it is American? Certain countries make certain products better than we do. that's how it's always been, and that's how it always will be.

Besides... with almost everything being manufactured in China today, I wouldn't be surprised if China could kick our asses in an extended conventional military conflict. They outnumber us about 6 to 1, and we simply don't have the manufacturing base to mobilize like we did in World War II.
Its funny that often the people who cry "down with Commies" the loudest are the same people that are against purely capitalist international economy and call for a strongly protectionist policy.

It's one of the few superpowers that exists today that still does not allow free speech.
My friend has a relative there that was taken away because he gathered with his friends every few days to write poems about freedom.
He and most of his friends were never found again.
Tens of thousands more are taken away and tortured for practicing meditation.

MOST of our products are made overseas. The American economy is mostly services and agriculture.
We no longer have enough manufacturing to make all (or even most) of the things we need. The people saying Buy American Products are ignorant of that fact
