But like people that voted 3rd party, why did Hogan and other Republicans that wrote in a candidate instead of Biden? Like how dumb are you to take the risk of the orange monkey winning just because they refused to vote D.
He knows what state he lives in.

His one vote didn't matter at all and he knew that.

2020 was the first time in history I've ever voted in my life and even I knew my one vote wouldn't matter, but I still felt I had to do it to add a +1 against Trump.

Your one vote does matter. Participation is a cornerstone of democracy. Voting regularly forces you to educate yourself, which is to your benefit and everyone else's.

What was said that was incorrect?

The only question is the size of their victory - supermajority or nah?

Yea. Dems are going to get trounced come election time. I fully expect the house, senate and presidency to go full Republican. With high inflation, the war in Ukraine, high gas prices, and so on. These are all going to be used against democrats effectively, and it's going to be a nightmare. I also expect Trump to get into office for a second term barring any health issues.

The most absurd contention is that Trump can win much less will win. Americans are very stupid BUT NOT THAT STUPID.

If your claim that Americans are not that dump, then cam you explain what would you call those Americans who participated in Jan 6 insurrection?

You clearly have more faith in people than I do, LOL. Most people won't educate themselves. I love the voter information guides we get in WA state, and I think every state could benefit from them--well, the citizens, anyway, maybe not some of the candidates/measures.
And while I don't presume to know whether Trump can or will win, I'm absolutely not willing to rule out the possibility that Americans could be that stupid. Hell, they might be stupid enough to put someone even worse like DeSantis in.

There were far more people interested in getting Trump out than there were to get him in or keep him in. Since then, a lot more Trump supporters have died than probably any other demographic by far. If Trump runs in 2024 I am pretty confident he will lose, and there aren't many people who have a lower faith in American rationality than I have.

Maybe 20+ years working on software with end users has had more impact on me than I thought.

Your mistake is believing the elections will be fair, republicans aren’t taking over state voting for nothing.

they don't have to be fair, they just have to be fair enough for trump to lose and I figure that to happen. American democracy is under attack but I don't expect it to die by 2024.

Apparently the Governor of Oklahoma already did that by renaming the stretch of US-287 highway in Cimarron County, from Boise City to the Oklahoma-Texas border of the county as "President Donald J. Trump Highway".

Either DeSantis or Abbot will of course try to one up on that Okie, probably rename a Civic Center or airport out in some deep red district where the need to rename it again after Trump ends up in jail won't matter none.
