same here.

once in a great while i notice the forums are slow. but not nearly enough for me to feel the need to rage to another forum.

I have noticed the forums are running crappy on my phone for the last 60 days or so but I'm not ready to rage quit yet.

Before I came here I used to lurk around extremetech.com forums, I remember there was a guy who used to always go ape sht over the slow forums and down time. He actually did what OP is suggesting started he own forum. I can't remember the name, I think it was mad geeks or something similar. I found it funny that he chose that name being the constantly pissed off guy. I salute that man for doing something that he wanted to get changed.
