I love me a good PVC external roll cage!

why is anyone comparing a 3 series to a lincoln ls? the ls was much more aimed at the 5 series, and in fact is larger than the latest F10 5 series.

Wasn't on Craigslist or eBay but through regular ads. This was in 2010 he bought a brand new 2010 Kawasaki 4 wheeler for I kid you not $500. Had 30 miles on it. Guy claims it wouldn't start.

We took it home, wouldn't start. Quick look inside found the air filter overflowing with walnuts and squirrel fur. The ignition cabling looked chewed up. We cleaned out the air filter and bought a new ignition cable and it started right up.

Here's what I consider a steal from Craigslist:

Not a car, but it has 4 wheels.

2002 Polaris 50 ATV

Advertised last Friday. Looks good, won't start. Dude was asking 300. "average" NADA retail is over 600. I got it for 225.

He was told it needed a stator, which I verified myfelf. Dealer price for the part was 170. I just bought a brand new kit...stator, coil, and starter off Ebay for 85 bucks, shipped. Easy to put on. Score!

My son will be happy on Christmas day, I think.

Quoting myself here, but oh well:

So I got this little critter running yesterday. We made the garage off-limits to the kids (present wrapping department is the cover story) and I've been working on it. Had to clean out/rebuild the carb. Replaced the air filter. It has a bad kill switch, but I jumped it for now.
Main goal was to have it running on Christmas Day, and I'm happy to report I drove it up the driveway, down the street a bit, and back into the garage last night. Didn't even get busted...the kids were watching a movie. Just have to button it up this afternoon, and it'll be ready (enough) to go for tomorrow.

It still needs a little work, but it's useable as-is. I have a total right now of about 325 in it. Will probably spend another 50 or so. It's easily worth 600+, so my son can ride it until he's big enough for the Predator 90 I have for him, then I can sell it and more than make my money back.
