I don't have BF1942. I was going to purchase Call of Duty.

Is it worth purchasing BF1942 if I plan to purchase Call of Duty? Will I even play BF at all?
 
Well, I have a server but it's a VPS. Here's the thing, though, I think it has the full machine resources by mistake (dual xeon 2.4 8gb ram.) I wonder if they'd notice a 32 person game going on. 😀

Wait, do you mean your user has full access privileges to that server accidentally? And I'm confused because you refer to it as "I" and then "they" concerning the server's ownership.

Seeking clarification...

It's a rented dedicated VPS. As such I'm supposed to only receive a certain portion of the machine's resources, but for some reason I see 100% of them.

Anyhoo there's so many idle servers already out there, too bad we can't share one with someone..

 
So, we need a server, or a public server to occupy. Until then I'm going to put [ATOT] in front of my name. I would like everyone else to do the same.

Chaotic's idea to start a clan never really materialized.
It takes a lot of work and a lot of dedicated players to really make it work.
I can't commit too much to scheduled times or anything.

But if you need a pilot, I can play.
I'm pretty handy in a fighter plane. Been playing at least 10 hours a week for the past 14 months.

I switched to Desert Combat for a few months, but got tired of it, so I went back to regular BF about a month ago. I'd be up for either though.

 
I love BF 1942, only game I play. But the sig says it all below. But hey if you need an extra once in while let me know, I would be happy to pinch hit or as the case may pinch shoot. Hell if you want to have try outs, use my server listed. It is always on and has bots for practice. If you want another mod, let me know and i can change it in a minute. Even have teamspeak. All this because I love the game lmao very expensive but worth it.
 
Sorry forgot to add this, please read the rules at www.mytylertown.com If you decide to play there. The rulers are enforced 100%, thats why I started my own server. So I would not have to play with idiots and TKers. And before the cynics and critics show up. No I am not trying to make money off from it, you will not find a " Click here to help keep this server free" button. Nor am I trying to get up page hits on my site. I am just a guy that loves the game and hates ppl who TK and act like idiots. Or servers where the mods play favorites. Feel free to play or practice and enjoy.
 
tyler, if we get a good, dedicated group perhaps we can all pitch in on the server. Can you provide the server stats? Where is it located?
