We need a Transformers the movie in real-life/CGI!!

Inspired by the other thread about the VW movie, damn this would be cool. Just have a transformers movie that is using top notch computer generated robots - I think it could make some good money because I know that anybody in my generation would be right there opening night.

great idea .. boy, i'll be there opening night waiting in line and maybe wearing some transformer costume. Serious, this movie will be making tons of money, although the cost wont be so cheap llaw. Wonder why they havent make one already??

There's already been at least one Transformers TV show done with CGI (Beast Wars), but I wasn't terribly impressed by the quality of the graphics.

I could really go for a live action G.I. Joe movie.

There's already been at least one Transformers TV show done with CGI (Beast Wars), but I wasn't terribly impressed by the quality of the graphics.

I could really go for a live action G.I. Joe movie.

That's cause it was still aiming for the computer look - I'm taling the sort of cgi used in starwars or lord of the rings - stuff to make the robots and scenary seem real like they actually exist - CGI placed over real landscape instead of that beastwars which was all Cgi.

You can sorta tell they made it like that. If you look at the later eps, the graphics looks a lot more realistic then the metallic look the earlier eps had. Anyway, a new Transformer movie would be awesome!

Eh, they will find a way to completley screw it up, I'm sure of it.

Even a remake wouldn't be all that good. I dunno, I just find the Transformers movie as it is... perfect.

Yeah I agree, a remake wouldnt be as good as the original, remakes never are. But as long as they took their time over it and didnt just through some crud together to make money, then i think it would be very good.

What would make it even better would be to get the original voice actors, although their voices will have changed somewhat in the 15 years or so since the original. I think one of the guys died, maybe the guy who did starscream, but i'm not sure.
