It's going to be very, very interesting to see what happens now with Fox news and the right-wing propaganda machine.

They raised and spent billions of corporate dollars attacking Obama over the past 4 years, and lost spectacularly last night. Is the money stream going to dry up now? I imagine Karl Rove is probably out of a job; who would give another dollar to the US Chamber of Commerce with zero return on investment?

It had nothing at all to do with the message. If anything, Fox News exposed Obama's victory as being a direct result of the overwhelming liberal bias of the media.

Yep....gotta blame something other than Romney and the Republican party being out of touch with the mainstream. Said it before and I'll say it again--as long as the Republican party hitches its wagons to the fundamentalist religious right, they'll have a hard time electing a President. Don't say it won't happen, but a lot of the Republican views, as put forth in the Republican platform, are waaaay right of the majority of Americans.

Fox, like any other reputable News Organization, has a Chinese Wall between their news and editorial arms.

[Reagan]Ms. Kelly... TEAR DOWN THAT WALL![/REAGAN]

LOL that gif is awesome. I wonder if any of those guys were posting on ATP&N when she walked in there.

Karl Rove will never be out of a job unless he's dead or comatose. He's the best they got, the single-man think tank big brain of the GOP. Right now I'm sure he's already convincing his billionaire backers that they need to sink more money into the next election cycle, since obviously they didn't have enough this time.

Change in the Republican party will have to come from the bottom out. The creeps will have to die and be replaced by younger people. People who know in their guts they are right can't compromise. They will blame compromise for their defeat.

Where does this somewhat forum consensus come from that Fox news should be ashamed of themselves after doing such a miserable job of predicting current election results again?

After all, why should they when they are nothing but bought and paid for shills of Rupert Murdock. As the employees of Fox News can probably look forward to pay raises and a future bigger budget in the hopes Rupert can buy better US results in future.

Poor ole Rupert, he is mired in a phone hacking scandal in the UK, which is all the more reason not to deny Rupert from having extra fun in the USA with his play toy of Fox News in the USA.

That's pretty much what Fox News amounts to - a billionaire spending hundreds of millions for his own private shill network to send out whatever message he wants. The internal report leaks from Fox reportedly said they would pass down a memo each day on what subject to hammer on and which way to spin. Anybody who disagrees gets booted with the quickness.

It seemed like Megan Kelly was almost laughing at Karl Rove when he flipped out. I switched back and forth between CNN and Fox and she did a good job and I could not detect any strong bias from her and she actually portrayed herself well if she was upset. Brett Baier was visibly upset but not as much as Rove of course.

I think Meghan Kelly realized she has a career beyond FOX News so she's trying to keep her sanity in check.

I'm sure you're right, and really I was short-sighted thinking of just the presidential race. There will always be legislative and court seats to buy, so I'm sure they'll keep hammering away.
