Hmm, we just need a few things:
* money, and lots of it.
* someone with a garage where we can build it. Metal fabrication and understanding parents (if it's their garage) a big plus.
* rocket scientists.
* quirky mascot - either a talking, funny dressed animal (monkey is preferred), or a silly, know-it-all sibling, or both - especially if animal and relative dress alike.
* one or more dang crazy pilots ("Flying through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops, boy!")
