I dont know where he is today, I'm guessing he's curled up with a teddy bear in the fetal position right about now

I'm sure that all Portland AT'ers are fine.

We didn't even feel it or even know about it in our building.

Wife called said "did you just feel that?", I said "feel what?" then she told me.

Portland-area quake: An earthquake of a 3.1 magnitude struck 10 miles northwest of Portland at 12:26 p.m. The quake appears to have been centered in the West Hills. More to come...

Dude, have you SEEN the pics of Gregg? A mental image of him with a teddy bear... that's just strange.

*hugs Gregg*

I know I know, like I said it was barely enough to say "what was that?" most people didnt even notice it.

has anyone ever heard of buildings shake??? No kidding - my office is in a state building....every couple of days, the ground shakes (just on the one side of the building). Any ideas as to what it is? Is this something I should worry about? Someone else was in my office yesterday, and when it happened she looked up and said "what the hell was that?" so, I'm not imagining...

LOL... I didn't feel it and my office isn't too far from the epicenter.

... just checked and apparently a couple of my co-workers felt it.

This just in (from a coworker) apparently it just got upgraded to a 3.9, it would explain why people were able to feel it considering if you were at the epicenter you would barely feel a 3.0

Here in the southern SF Bay Area we probably get a couple 3.0-4.0 magnitude earthquakes a month, and I never feel any of them. :p

Last one I recall feeling was a mid 4's magnitude quake a few years back, and even that one wasn't very lively.

I'm not more than ten miles from the epicenter and I didn't feel anything at all. Looking at a map, it must've been at Sauvie Island or close to it.

Didn't feel it here in Tigard, although one of my coworkers did. My GF is down at PSU and she said she felt it too. The only quake I even remember feeling was that "Spring Break Quake" that was what, 10 years ago? I think that was in the mid 5's IIRC.

LOL That quote cracked me up.

You mean an earthquake which shakes the house is going to agitate her animals AND make her pictures crooked?

Say it ain't so!
