Their drinks are way over priced. 1.89 for a 44 ounce, pffft. My local gas station sells a 44 for 1.19, .89 for a cup refill. Sonic fills their cups with ice so you don't get much drink at all.

Uh, so ask for little/no ice. What's so hard about that?

Ohhhh I love Sonic. The closest one is like 30 miles away - and this is in south FL. They probably don't want cubans and dominicans messing up their image.

The closest Sonic to LA is in Anaheim which is too far to drive just for food but I had some with my friend who lives there about a month ago. It was good but nothing to write home about. We got the brown bag special with happy hour slushies.

Yours too? We have 2 in Modesto that are horrible, and the one in Turlock only lasted a couple of years in spite of having a great location in front of Costco.

Some of their drinks are pretty good though, a nice change from the usual coke & pepsi stuff which is all most places offer.

Sonic's tater tots were OK the last time we were there too, but overall, not worth the visit.

The sonic in my town must suck, as I've never had anything good there and didn't know how they stay in business.
