He's ~ 3 months old, thinks our arms and legs are scratching posts (even though he has one), likes to swat his claws at your face, will be so sweet one minute, starts biting and scratching the everloving hell out of your arm the next.... He will also go from being alseep, to running full speed around the office like a bat out of hell for no reason.

Today, he discovered a new trick. He keeps jumping in the trash can. No matter how many times i take him out of it, he jumps back in.

Argh....

Sounds like he's worked out the solution to your problem but you're screwing it up.

Pics or ban! :)

You have a pet cat at the office? What do you guys do (profession)?

Or is cat a metaphor for something NSFW?

Take away his morning coffee or just give him decaf
that should calm the little furball down some

the sugar in the donut crumbs might be having a effect on him also

also theres a book out just for office cats
its called "fun with sticky notes"

;)

;)

Sounds like my cat (Pounce) when he was a kitten. Those were crazy days. He would do some crazy things like lay on his back and scoot across the floor by clawing at the bed. That and come full speed through the room and leap off the bed to the top of my computer chair.

He also like to do this roll type move. He would be on his back with his back legs over his head. Not sure if it was his type of defensive move but it was hilarious.

Its not my cat, he belongs to my boss.

This is a law firm, obviously not a typical one :) We usually have the kitten here, along with her dog. The dog is fine, the kitten is insane.

That's highly inappropriate.

You only do that at parties.

Yeah, but try to avoid doing it on stairs.
Man, I want to work at your firm. That's awesome.

Along those lines...sorry, but no professional organization will have animals roaming loose in the office.

I'm going to go out on a limb (not real far though) and assume that your office has no dress code, no set working hours, no standards really...kind of like Berkeley U sort of, right?

Cats are evil, like children, but that's not important here. What's important is that someone (or more than one) person in your office decided to bring a flea-ridden, allergy-inducing (yes, I'm deathly allergic to cat dander) cat into the office w/o regard for those who might be physically harmed by its presence...or those that just hate cats.

I mean, is your job a JOB or a freakin' petting zoo?

*edit*
Sorry about the misquote; I actually aimed my reply at the OP. My bad. My post stands though!
