probably, main living room, moderate light, and it will be used probably everyday.. for a few hrs for news and so forth.

Great information. That's a start. Just a few more questions:
What's the viewing distance?
What kind of source material (ie. 60% cable SD TV, 30% DVD, 10% OTA HD)?
What kind of shows do they like to watch (ie. 70% news, 20% dark movies like LOTR, 10% cartoons, etc)?
What kind of viewing angles are required (ie. Most viewing is straight on. or they like to invite people over, so there's perhaps a 30-40% viewing angle)?

DAYUM its like a quiz from college.. but less multiple choice.
- viewing disance is about 10feet max, might hit 12ft
- source will be cable TV, dvd's
- mostly will be regular viewing, weekend sports, news, regular primetime tv.
- i think it will be straight viewing, no angled viewing... let see if i can find a picture of the model house..
