We get new phones in 2 months...what should I get?

Any ideas? That blackberry that everyone has (the curve?) or the iphone seem cool. What kind of data plans would I have to get with those? I wish i didn't...
 
It depends... The iphone is getting refreshed so I would have to reserve judgment until it is announced next month but it's likely that would be my choice for a consumer/multimedia phone. If you are more of a business/email focused user then a BB, more specifically the Bold, may be a better choice.
 
Both the Blackberry & the iPhone require $30 data plans at the moment. There are rumors that they may lower it to $20 to compete with Sprint & the Palm Pre, though.

I hope that's true and I hope it's retroactive. I just bought my wife an iphone and it doesn't even get delivered until monday.
 
IMO if you plan on doing a lot of web browsing or want a good choice of apps the iphone is for you. If you want it mainly for email/messaging then the BB is the best choice.
