I dont think they check a cookie to keep it to one vote.

I just deleted all my cookies and tried again, but it still wont let me vote again today. Maybe they IP log?

also done... this thread should have more replies.. or views at least than the nba finals one...

How do you check the number of views for a thread?

Everyone should vote once a day, then we will pass them all quickly (we have about 10K people login to the forums everyday, dont we?)

hmm, someone make a program to do the post, and run it through a proxy...then we distribute that program to all these rc5 lovers and there we go, by tommorow well be in 1st place 🙂

<< Maybe they IP log? >>

It's not IP log. I just voted seven times, all coming from the same IP address.

I have that. Its called ClickingAgent. It was designed to fool ad companies by going through public proxies and executing the code 😀

yay...
I know anandtech deserves to be in top5.

and the guys at sharkyforums have been pushing this 'voting' thing for a while!

A stupid attempt to get massive amounts of hits on PCStats. I guess what's worse is that all the clowns on various forums are buying into it. What does it prove? Which forum has the most devoted losers to write hit generating scripts?
